1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, or booking our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. You accept these Terms in full. If you are booking on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2. Our Services

Balaji Car Carrier provides the following services:

• Car transportation within India (door-to-door, terminal-to-terminal)
• Bike transportation with specialized packing
• Luxury, SUV, sedan, and enclosed car carrier services
• Corporate car shifting, train car transport, and international car shipping
• Vehicle storage, warehousing, and transit insurance options

Service availability, timelines, and coverage depend on your route and the specific requirements of your vehicle. Final scope is confirmed in writing before booking.

3. Quotes & Estimates

• All quotes are provided in Indian Rupees (INR) and are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.
• Quotes are based on information provided by you (vehicle type, route, service type). If the actual scope differs, the price may be revised.
• Additional charges may apply for: enclosed carrier upgrade, door-to-door pickup/delivery, waiting time beyond 1 hour, non-running vehicles requiring winches, or special handling.
• Final pricing is confirmed in the booking confirmation email or agreement.

4. Booking & Payment

• A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the advance payment.
• Advance: An advance payment is required to confirm and reserve your vehicle slot on the carrier.
• Balance: The remaining amount is due on the day of vehicle loading or before final delivery, as specified in the booking confirmation.
• We accept payment via UPI, bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), and cash (against a signed receipt).
• GST will be charged as applicable. A tax invoice will be provided for every transaction.

5. Cancellation Policy

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Refunds are further governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth vehicle transport, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your vehicle, pickup/delivery addresses, and any access restrictions
• Declare any existing damage, modifications, or high-value features in writing at booking
• Keep only about a quarter tank of fuel and disable alarms/toll tags before handover
• Remove personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle before pickup
• Provide vehicle documents (RC copy, insurance, PUC, ID proof) at the time of pickup
• Inspect the vehicle during loading and unloading and note any concerns immediately

7. Prohibited Items Inside Vehicles

We do not allow the following items to be left inside vehicles during transit. Any such items found will be removed, and you may be liable for any resulting delay or penalty:

• Explosives, firearms, ammunition, and flammable materials
• Illegal drugs, narcotics, and contraband
• Cash, jewellery, and other valuables
• Electronics, laptops, and personal documents
• Perishable food items and live animals
• Any item prohibited by Indian law or destination regulations

Items inside vehicles are typically not covered under vehicle transit insurance. Please ship valuables separately.

8. Liability & Insurance

• Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the extent of insurance purchased. We strongly recommend opting for vehicle transit insurance.
• Without insurance, our liability is capped at a nominal amount per vehicle, as specified in the booking agreement.
• We are not liable for damage arising from pre-existing defects, non-disclosed modifications, or items left inside the vehicle.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g. lost business, emotional distress).
• Vehicles of exceptional value (luxury, vintage, modified) should be shipped with declared-value insurance.

9. Delays & Force Majeure

While we strive to deliver on time, we shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, or extreme weather
• Strikes, riots, civil unrest, or government restrictions
• Carrier breakdowns, road closures, or traffic disruptions
• Railway delays, port congestion, or customs holds
• Any other events beyond our reasonable control

In such cases, you will be informed promptly, and we will do our best to minimise the delay.

10. Claims

• Any vehicle damage or loss must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
• Claims must include: photos of the damage, a copy of the LR/booking receipt, and a written description of the issue.
• Claims reported after 48 hours may not be accepted, as it becomes difficult to establish the cause of damage.
• All claims are subject to investigation and settlement as per the applicable insurance policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — is the property of Balaji Car Carrier or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
